 Camp MITIOG www.CampMITIOG.org Announcement 2010 Fundraising Campaign with Camps for Kids The economy, and several natural disasters around the world has contributed to a shortfall in donations through the matching fundraising campaign of our partner “Camps for Kids”. Camps for Kids has provided a matching fund grant for Camp MITIOG for the last several years. The matched funds are given out on a first come first serve basis. In 2010 we have been told the funds are not as great as in the past. In the past Camps for Kids has increased our fundraising over $20,000. The campaign Starts on April 1st and runs through July 31st. Last year the funds from the matching pool were gone by June 30th. I would like to ask a special favor this year. We have several fundraising events this year in which we will be taking sponsorships for Camp MITIOG, the events include. 1. Second annual Highway to Help Motorcycle run in July 2. First annual Walk, Ride and Role 5k and 10k walk run in May 3. At least on concert featuring the Greater Kansas City, Kansas Community orchestra 4. A Garage Sale and many smaller events. It is to Camp MITIOG’s advantage to raise as many donations as early after the April 1st start of the Camps for Kids campaign as we can. If you are aware of any organizations or companies, who would like to sponsor Camp MITIOG for the 2010 year in the amount of $350.00 or more Donation paid the first of April: 1.) We will put their logo, E-mail address and other information on the www.CampMITIOG.org web site for the year. 2.) We will include the logo of the organization on the T-shirts which we will be giving away to the participants of the Highway to Help Motorcycle Run and the Walk, Ride and Role event. 3.)
